There are different types of slewing rings. Slewing rings are produced in a diameter of 0.3–4.5 metres and are generally used for heavy loads and low rotational speeds or oscillation. They can support high loads and have a long useful life. Due to their design, slewing rings are able to absorb radial and axial loads. Slewing rings are often used horizontally. Most of the sizes are available with inner or outer toothing.
