Double row spherical bearings are self-aligning roller bearings and can absorb both radial and axial forces. The angle of double row spherical bearings is also adjustable. These bearings have solid outer rings with concave, ball-shaped races. The solid inner rings have ribs and can have a conical or cylindrical bore. The barrel-shaped rollers are guided in a cage. Thanks to the ball-shaped race of the outer ring, it can align itself in relation to the symmetrical spherical rollers. Misalignments and shaft deflections can be compensated as a result.
