Split roller bearings – the name says it all. These bearings are divided and have two or four mounting holes in the housing as standard. The basis of the plummer block housing consists of a number of housings of the same design but in different sizes. By combining these housings with different standard seals, a wide range of different housing variants can be supplied that are all standard. The split bearing is also the perfect solution whenever replacing bearing blocks is a time-consuming task. With split bearings, it is possible to leave the shaft in place and build the bearing around it.
