Industrial vibration dampers
Vibrations are unavoidable in any application involving machines. Vibration damping mounts or (rubber) vibration dampers prevent transmission of these vibrations to surrounding structures, such as another machine or the floor. Industrial vibration dampers are used in all industries. They absorb about 80% of the vibrations in your application. So they perform better than cylindrical vibration dampers, which absorb only about 50% of the vibrations.

When do I need a vibration damper?
A (rubber) vibration damper absorbs vibrations, but does not eliminate them completely. Before applying an industrial vibration damper, you need to minimise the vibrations produced by your machine. Simply aligning a shaft properly, or replacing a worn bearing, can eliminate a significant amount of vibration. You can then isolate the environment from all the other vibrations produced by your machine with the vibration damper.
