Application

As an insulating tape, it’s used e.g. to mark cables, but because of its characteristics, it can also be used as a repairing tape. The special adhesive made from acrylate provides a high UV and temperature resistance. The professional insulation tape is therefore highly robust and can be used for up to 104 weeks outdoors. Furthermore, tesaflex® 4163 is also resistant to acids and solvents.

tesaflex® 4163 is universal useable and exceptionally qualified for general jobs like:

Electric installation work, e.g. insulating cable coating
Isogeno-gray product variant for color matching in installation work, e.g. for heating pipes
Splicing applications
Also suitable for repairs, marking and bundling
