Conveying Solutions (423 products containing 6382 Items)

Conveyor belts are used in the internal transport of goods, for example to move a semi-finished product or a finished product to a different location within the production process. These belts, that are typically made from PU, PVC, rubber or polyester, are available in many models and sizes.

The big advantage is that they are available in whatever length is desired. As standard, these (open-ended) belts come in rolls, and can then be cut to the required length and welded. Flat belts are available in different colours, strengths and hardness grades (specified in shore units, Sh A).

There are also various surface structures, different cover materials (e.g. supergrip) and fitted cleats. The correct conveyor belt is frequently determined by its friction coefficient. The welding of these belts is somewhat more complex than the welding of round and V-belts made of PU and is therefore usually left to the supplier.

In addition to PU flat belts, a full assortment of System Plast modular conveyor belts is also available. This conveyor belt range includes:

  • Straight version
  • Magnetic version
  • With LBP rollers
  • With rubber surface

Apart from modular conveyor belts, System Plast supplies all other conveyor belt components. For example, the hinged belt conveyor from System Plast can be found in the “chains” product group.

Conveyor belts are used above all in the packaging, food and beverage industries. From a hygiene point of view, it is particularly important in the food and beverage industries that the products used meet FDA guidelines. The European regulation EC1935/2004 is also of importance in these industries.
