Built-in heat and energy meter
Constant temperature control can be used in circulation systems with variable flow rates in which a constant, user-defined medium temperature is to be maintained. The pump monitors the flow control and replaces the control valves. This component monitors the distribution and utilization of thermal energy in the system to avoid excessive electricity bills caused by system imbalance. The meter has an accuracy of +/-1% to +/-10% depending on the duty point, eliminating the need for a separate energy meter within the system
Adjustable flow control
With the FLOWLIMIT function and the FLOWADAPT control mode, a flow limitation for the MAGNA3 can be set. The pump then continuously monitors the desired flow rate, which reduces the risk of system imbalance. This reduces the need for balancing valves and improves the overall energy efficiency of the system.
Intelligent AUTOADAPT™ control mode
The automatic adjustment of the characteristic curve to the system conditions makes manual adjustment of the pump during installation superfluous. The factory setting fits in 80% of all cases. If the system conditions change during operation, the pump electronics calculate the new, ideal characteristic curve and the most energy-efficient operating point
Building management
Optional CIM modules support all common fieldbus standards, making the MAGNA3 the perfect addition to any BMS system.
