The ERIKS V-ring type E with an upright rear face is used as an axial shaft seal in pressureless applications. The seal is a tight fit around the shaft in your application. The flexible sealing lip seals against a machined surface perpendicular to the shaft. This lip prevents dirt, dust and splashing water from entering the system. Our V-ring type E is specifically designed for heavy-duty use. The product is mainly used where large axial tolerances are required. This profile is supplied for shafts from Ø 450 mm to Ø 2010 mm.

This V-ring seal is available in CR, FKM and NBR. Note that NBR is not resistant to ozone and UV radiation.

Are you looking for a smaller product? Choose the ERIKS V-ring type A or S. If you require just a basic seal, the type L is also a good option.
